Location & Parking

Beginning January 18th we will be meeting at the Star Theater in Toccoa (55 West Doyle Street, Toccoa) at 10:00am. There is parking available on the street in front of the theater as well in the parking lot behind. We Gather for worship in the grand room of this historic theatre.

Worship

We value thoughtful, reverent worship that’s steeped in God’s Word and prayer. We sing both traditional and modern hymns, songs, and the psalms. We recite the creeds and confessions of our faith, preach through entire books of the Bible. We celebrate the Lord’s Supper on the first Sunday of each month. Our bulletin is created each week to guide everyone through the components of our worship service. Our service usually last until 11:15am, and you are invited to stay and mingle after the service is over.

Children

We love for families to be able to worship together. Children are invited and encouraged to stay in the worship service with their parents or guardians. We also have a nursery available for children ages 4 and under with check-in in the lobby right as you enter the building.

Leadership

“Presbyterian” comes from the Greek word presbuteros which means “elder.” To be presbyterian means to be ruled not by one person, but by a group of elders (a session). These men are given the task of shepherding the flock as under shepherds of Christ. It also means we are connected and accountable to other local PCA churches.
